Summary: After being confronted with the image of Yellow Pearl when Peridot contacted Yellow Diamond, Pearl is forced to remember the circumstances that binds her to all the Pearls back on Homeworld. When an attack on Blue Diamond's court goes out of hand 5,750 years ago, Pearl finds something left over in Blue Diamond's wake. But how long can she hide this new secret from Rose and Garnet? And how can she hope to give another Pearl an identity when she barely has one herself outside of the great Rose Quartz?

Okay, so I know of imprinting from the times my brother has forced me to watch the Twilight Saga with him, and... it's weird. Just very weird and creepy. I'm assuming that imprinting in Homeworld is just a pearl choosing who they are going to serve though. This is an interesting concept though and I'm curious to see where this goes. (also Pearl in the middle panel is so cute! <3)
